Sharp management gets another visit

  • Nikkei News is reporting that Foxconn chairman, Young Liu, made a second visit to Sharp’s headquarters in Japan last week
  • Foxconn (aka Hon Hai Precision of Taiwan), owns controlling interest in Sharp, and recently had 3 day meeting with Sharp’s management to discuss revisions to avoid another large loss
    • Sharp ended its last fiscal year with 260.8 billion yen loss
  • Meeting included over 100 senior and mid-level management employees
  • Addressed relationship between two companies and future of Sharp and requested an “improvement plan”
