o Plan runs counter to activist calls for entire company to go private

  • aims to complete split by March 2024
  • The three companies will be:
    • energy and infrastructure
    • hard disk drives and power semiconductor business
    • flash-memory chip company Kioxia Holdings and other

Toshiba reports earnings

  • Toshiba TEC division reports its earnings for first half of fiscal year
