PLANO,TX (October 31, 2013)—Muratec America, Inc., manufacturer of multifunction office equipment and business productivity solutions, announces today that the MFX-3530 and MFX-3590 have received the five-star environmental performance rating from Buyer’s Laboratory Inc. (BLI), based on a two-month product evaluation.
According to the published BLI Environmental Test Report the five-star rating was awarded to these models based on:
• Energy consumption in both running and non-running modes being the lowest among the competition.
• Printing performance on 30%, 50% and 100% recycled paper (no curl or misfeeds)
• Projected annual energy consumption and cost are significantly lower than most competing models
The overall rating is based on performance ratings in eight individual categories. The MFX-3530 received 5-star ratings for “energy consumption & cost”, “runnability with 30% recycled paper”, “runnability with 50% recycled paper” and “runnability with 100% recycled paper”. The device received a 4.5-star rating for “tested toner yield” and 4-star ratings for “noise emissions” and “recovery time”.
The MFX-3590 received 5-star ratings for “energy consumption & cost”, “runnability with 30% recycled paper”, “runnability with 50% recycled paper”, “runnability with 100% recycled paper” and “tested toner yield”. The device received a 4-star rating for “noise emissions” and “recovery time”.
